Brian Kerr is a legend. The best Dublin accent in the business. He knows more and understands more about football players, tactics and systems than all the experts on this site combined - and I include Hugh Montieth and Fordstar in that. As manager he won the European Under 16 and Under 18 Championships with republic of Ireland. For that alone I can't understand why no one has signed him up to run their academy. He brought through Damien Duff and Robbie Keane. As Ireland senior manager he wasn't given a fair crack - went on to make the Faroes a force to be reckoned with. I love him.

Best bit was when he said someone had 'daved.' It wasn't his accent either, you could tell he knew he'd said the wrong thing.

I liked the bit when he's said "they miss song, he was brilliant in that little run when they beat Man City in errrr In, in, in, London...."
Or when he said West Ham will be a totally different proposition against Arsenal with Jenkinson in the team, even my 10 year old at that point said well he would if he were eligible to play in the game but seeing as that's one of arsenals loan conditions..
Begs the question why do theses people get paid a lot of money for this ?..

He's similar to john giles on rte, they could watch any game and tell you all about shapes and tactics and what's going on, but both struggle with names and stuff like that.
